Updates
We would like to address the instabilities and outage that occurred on Friday, April 26th. We understand that any service interruption has a significant impact on your operations.
During the night from Thursday to Friday, work related to the patient search mechanisms was carried out. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the replication of the patient search index, leading to instabilities in the system. The problem was only detected early Friday morning when the system was in use. Our team quickly worked to rebuild the search index. However, transitioning to this new index caused a widespread system error. Restarting the system and validating the fixes resulted in a 35-minute outage at the start of the lunch hour (11:59 AM to 12:34 PM).
Over the past few months, the development team has undertaken a major overhaul of the patient search system to improve its architecture and remove the connectivity constraints that caused this outage. These efforts will be completed in the coming weeks, which should prevent such issues from occurring again. In the meantime, we have documented this incident and learned from it to diagnose and resolve similar problems more quickly in the future.
We would like to thank you for your trust and understanding.
